Thursday night we’ll be meeting with the CB3 transportation committee to discuss unsafe conditions for pedestrians at the Madison-Grand intersection in front of building 2.

There are two basic problems:

• To cross Madison the long way, pedestrians are given an unreasonably short amount of time, with no protection from turning cars.
• Sight lines are severely limited around the short Madison crosswalk when the M22 is parked — even the leading stop light is blocked.
