To mark next month’s anniversary of the opening of Rochdale Equitable Pioneers Society Store, the Co‑operative Heritage Trust is launching a new virtual tour of the museum.

It comes in the form of a 35-minute film made with the Co-operative College and supported by Co‑operative News. The film follows tour guide Payal Mistry on a journey from Rochdale to Manchester. She finds out more about the values and principles of the movement and how co‑ops support communities across the world.

It's a useful tool that can help co-ops introduce the movement to new members, staff and partners who may not be able to visit the Rochdale Pioneers Museum in person.

The film is available to buy or rent – and doing so contributes to the preservation of the Co‑operative Heritage Trust – a small independent charity looking after the records and original building that belonged to the Pioneers. Find out more here.
